You Follow Me

Jesus had restored Peter, given him instruction to care for His sheep, and told him what kind of death he would die. Then as Peter began to follow Jesus, he turned and became distracted with in what manner John would serve Christ and die. Jesus told him that was none of his concern, simply that Peter was to follow him. Are you distracted by the perceived unfairness of your burdens, your difficulties, and what Jesus has called us by name and told us to follow him, to share in His sufferings. What a great gift we have been given, to follow our Lord and Savior. Amen?
