Two imperative are found for God's servants. FAITHFUL meaning trustworthy in matters regarding the glory and gospel of God. WISE meaning they know and are well instructed in the grace of God. They are true to mercy conditioned on Christ alone. Discerning the flesh is unprofitable, they look to the righteousness which Christ earned, God accepted and imputed at the cross of Jesus' of obedience.
