Ever Reforming (Part 1)

Can we who live in the 21st century still learn from the Reformers of the 16th century? What did these men unleash that made their movement so powerful? Did they go far enough in their pursuit to restore Christ alone and Scripture alone to the place of ultimate authority in the church?
We will examine these questions over the next two weeks on “Encounter God’s Truth,” as Whitcomb Ministries presents special guest speaker Dr. Andy Woods—senior pastor of Sugar Land Bible Church in Sugar Land, Texas, and president of Chafer Theological Seminary. Dr. Woods is also an attorney who has a great interest in history, and has a led a tour of the sites of the German Reformation.
Over these two broadcasts, Dr. Woods will present a survey of the Reformation—looking first at the most positive accomplishments of the Reformers. We will see that the ultimate lesson that we learn from the Reformation is that we need to be “Ever Reforming.”
