Joseph was abused by his brothers yet came to a place where he could forgive. His example is essential for us in our culture where so many have been abused even by family members. Joseph takes three important steps toward forgiveness and reconciliation with his brothers which can be applied by us to forgive and seek to restore a relationship who have hurt us or caused us pain.
