What is Union with Christ?

Purpose: Romans 6:2-3 teaches the doctrine of union with Christ but what is this doctrine according to the rest of Scripture? In this session we shall answer four questions to help us better understand the doctrine of our union with Christ so that we can appreciate and thank God more deeply for His saving work and sanctifying work in us.

i. What are the terms used to describe union with Christ?
ii. What is the nature of the believer’s union with Christ?
iii. How is this union established and enjoyed?
iv. What are the fruitful consequences of this union?
