Sola Scriptura

The doctrine of sola Scriptura was the formal principle of the Reformation. Our ultimate authority is found in the Scriptures alone. This does not mean that all tradition is to be rejected, as some Protestants believe, but rather that tradition is to be rightly ordered under Scripture.
