David's life ends

We all have an appointment with death and here David has finally had his. During his life he served his generation. With David's passing Solomon is now the one in charge of the kingdom. He was now officially starting his career as king. God established his kingdom as He had promised to do. The question for us is is our life serving others and God especially as we are meant to do?
