Christ Refuting Liberals

Jesus is questioned this time by the liberal Sadducees, who denied the resurrection, angels, spirits, eternal life, judgment day and the inspiration of anything but Moses. Sound familiar? The spirit of the Sadducees is alive and well today in the liberal mainline churches who deny miracles, a six-day 24-hour creation, an historical Adam, the parting of the Red Sea, Jonah being swallowed by a great fish, prophecy of future events, the virgin birth, the resurrection of Jesus, the second coming and just about every other miraculous thing recorded in Scripture. Jesus rebuked the Sadducees by the abridged scriptures they thought they believed, demonstrating that they didn't really believe the Pentateuch either. He told them they were greatly mistaken because they didn't understand the Scriptures or the power of God. Which is the same ignorance found in modern day church-going liberals.
