Buried in Death, Raised in Glory

The sacrament of Holy Baptism is one of the two sacraments ordained by our Savior. The sacraments are "…appointed of God for this end, that by the use thereof He may the more fully declare and seal to us the promise of the Gospel: namely, that of free grace, He grants us the forgiveness of sins and everlasting life for the sake of the one sacrifice of Christ accomplished on the cross." This Lord's Day, we will be called upon to see the visible proclamation of the Gospel in the sacrament of Holy Baptism, to rejoice in the promise of forgiveness of sins, and to live a renewed life.
