When is Thanksgiving This Year?

Among the earliest European settlers of this hemisphere, there was the natural response to what was an extraordinary Providential act of preservation. They expressed their thanks in a tangible way. They set aside a time of joint celebration of God's care of them. Our text today is not focused entirely on the concept of thanksgiving, but what is important is that after all is said, we end up there. It is the natural destination of our life's voyage, our journey, or as the text says, our walk.
