The Beginning of Saul's Sufferings

Soon after Saul's conversion, he begins to undergo persecution. This persecution causes him to flee from the city, being let down in a basket. Years later, he would reflect upon this event (2 Cor. 11) as a monument to his own weakness in which he learned to boast.
