God's Work On Behalf of Believers

Those who love God are those whom He has effectually called. This love for God is most evident as it is demonstrated by living in obedience to His commands. God's calling is because of, and for, His divine purpose. The call and purpose of God are joined together to accomplish the work of salvation in each individual believer's life.

God's purpose always operates on behalf of the believer whom He relates to personally and intimately. Nothing can, or does, frustrate those purposes of God as He is working all things together for the benefit of the believer. The various things may not in and of themselves seem good or beneficial at the time they are experienced, but it is as they are orchestrated by God's perfect plan that they result in good as they fill in the details of the big picture of the believer's life.

His sovereignty and omniscience assures us that His perfect will, will be done. This assurance is for those whom God has foreknown and predestined for His calling. Included in His plan and purpose are also His justifying and glorifying believers. The glorification, although yet future, is guaranteed by God's purposes that cannot be thwarted or altered.
