A Different Gospel

It is vitally important that the church know, uphold, and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church stands and falls on its belief regarding the good news of Jesus Christ. This sermon calls the church to attention regarding maintaining the purity of the gospel. We take a look at Paul's refutation of false teachers who introduced perversions to the gospel message, as well as the Reformers use of Paul's words in the 1500s as they battled the Roman Catholic Church's perversion of the gospel. They called for a return to the Gospel of Grace, whereby a sinner is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, through the Scriptures alone, bringing glory to God alone. We, in our day, must be just as vigilant to guard the gospel as a sacred trust and pass it on to the next generation!
