The nature of the Abrahamic inheritance: it is (ultimately) a Savior and it is gained by sacrifice.
Exegesis: The process of inheritance: it is sovereignly given (vv. 7-8); it is bought with blood (vv. 9-11); it is wrought through suffering and deliverance (vv. 12-16); it is sealed by the Holy Spirit (vv. 17-21).
Further application: The two rules of inheritance: know who it is we are seeking, and know why we are seeking Him.
