Perseverance (2)

We must recognize the very real danger of spiritual apostasy and falling away. In the course of your life in Christ you will see people who profess faith and who then seem to lose all interest in the gospel and become indifferent, even hostile, to the Savior and his people. When you do, remember this parable of the Sower and the soils. Three of the four soils are spiritually unproductive and do not yield a crop. Two show great promise, but die out over time. Last week we looked at the experiences of three prominent but temporary believers. What does the Bible teach about perseverance?
