The Peace of Christ

God has acted decisively in our Lord Jesus Christ to bring all hostility to an end, forever. 'Stop' he says, 'and know that I am God'. He is the God of peace who has raised Jesus from the dead to announce peace to us who were under his wrath and who hated him with bitterness. To those who trust in Christ, the world is now the place where this peace is being worked out. Paul gives us ways to live in this new way—in unity, gentleness, joy, prayer and faith-filled thinking.
