Get Trained for Real Life - Mentorship and Apprenticeship
339
One of the oldest methods of educating and preparing young people for a calling in life is coming full circle - Mentorship. Mentorship (or Apprenticeship) is a one-on-one, side-by-side educational approach allowing a young person to receive the real-life, every-day training in a job with someone already skilled in the field. There are no chalkboards, curriculum, or desks bolted to the floor - but it is the most effective form of preparation for life, bar none. Join Generations in this interview with Michael Donnelly JD from HSLDA, the author of a recent article on mentorship in the National Court Report, to find out how mentorship has the power to redefine education and economics in the 21st century.
