Authority and Jurisdiction

The doctrine of the legitimate Sovereign authority, and the legitimate Sovereign jurisdiction of the Lord Jesus Christ is a hateful doctrine to the rebellious. They want “no king but Caesar” and not law but man's law.

While the doctrine of God's universal authority is despised by rebels, the truth of God's comprehensive jurisdiction in all things is doubly hateful.
