1 Timothy 4 Part 9: A Weary Minister

Timothy has had to fight not only the heretics themselves but the gangrene that has spread through his congregation and every time he thinks he has managed to lay the axe to the root of one tree, by next week it is back at full stature…
He is young… Paul has to tell him let no man despise your youth, very likely because, the older men weren't listening to him,they were probably,… despising his youth
Yet he is exhorted to continue to preach with authority regardless of the demand of the other men and women for him to preach differently
Paul found him in such a state that he has to tell him to "kindle afresh"… paul found it floundering… the issues going on in the church are wearing on him,
he is fighting such a big lie that's growing rampant, he continues to try to gain ground,
Timothy is an adept and greatly gifted evangelist, Timothy is experienced despite his age, and Timothy has a rare shepherds heart for the church, as Paul says he has no man likeminded like Timothy who will naturally care for your state…
But Timothy is dealing with those who can not seem to care for their own state, he cares greatly about what they care nothing for, and that's difficult to say he least
