Developing a correct worldview will not profit you unless you make good choices and act upon them. Basically, The entire Book of Proverbs is dedicated to giving us a proper view of the world and of how we are to live in this life.

We are gleaning from the Book of Proverbs to gain important building blocks and to see some of the facets of a Biblical worldview. Once discovered, these principles from many of the proverbs will help form and sustain a good outlook on life.

Conclusion: Godly happiness is happiness God's Way

The progressive fading out of Christian values in our culture is not a new phenomenon. It may be new for us. It may cause us to grieve and even tempt us to despair, but this is not the first time in history that God's people have had to work out how to live in a culture which rejects the notion of God and refuses to live according to his Word. We have exchanged the glory and truth of God for a lie, and God is handing us over to the lusts of our hearts and our wayward ways. Rather than despair in this, Paul boldly declares the gospel, knowing it alone is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. Only the greater exchange which took place at Calvary can restore humanity and transform our hearts so that we will again worship the one, true, living God.

Taylor's Chapel Baptist Church - 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Isaiah 5:18-23
Isaiah warns us, 'wow unto them that call evil good, and good evil'. Our culture today not only does what is wrong, but calls sin good and biblical morality bad. The truth is that things will get worse as we willingly (exchange) or ignorantly (confuse) God's commands. What is to be done? Turn to and know the scriptures and the Spirit of God that will lead us unto all truth and righteousness.

We look at what Paul call dung and what he exchange it for.

How is a person qualified to live in the presence of a holy God? On the surface, David seems to provide a moralistic answer: "Do this and don't do this." But digging deeper into the heart of this psalm, we see more gospel and more grace -- and we see the importance of our grateful response.

In this Serenity Break episode, we consider that to be crucified with Christ means have died to the world. We have the same relationship with and to the world as does any corpse in a funeral home. We do not respond to the world's values and ways, but instead walk as Christ did. This will also mean being hated by the world as it hated Christ. We have to stop trying to get the world to like Jesus, and approve of us.

This is a discussion comparing and contrasting the family of today with the family of 50 years ago. This is a very sad statement about the new definition of the family. It certainly can not be used as an example of Christ and His Church today.
