Seek the knowledge of truth.

Since God gave us His Word, we accept with certainty the truth about the coming of Jesus. We accept what The Spirit wrote about Jesus, not what others have said about Him. (v.1) We accept how good, orderly, and sufficient God's Word is to inform us about the coming of Jesus. (v.2-3) We accept with certainty of the things God revealed to us. (v.4) How did your beliefs get formed about Jesus and Christmas? About whom are the 1st 5 books of the Bible? Jn 5:46, Lk 24:44 What can be done to fortify you in the truth? 2 Tim. 3:14-17 What is your view of the authority of Jesus? Mt. 28:18. Ps.119:102

Why did Jesus Come? John 18:33-38 " Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 34 ¶ Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? 35 ¶ Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? 36 ¶ Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 ¶ Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. People reflect the image of God, which includes being rational, but because of our sin nature, we are foolish thinkers. Our perceptions of the world will determine our belief system which in turn shapes our core values and desires. Christians are transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2), so it is critical for our images and beliefs become aligned with the truth God has given us in His word

Chapter 15 of Proverbs is a comparison chapter. It is comparing the foolish to the wise, and the wicked to the righteous. The first area that we look at is the comparison of their words.

Work It Out Working Out — What God Is Working In Us.
