"But he refused and said to his master's wife, 'Behold, because of me my master has no concern about anything in the house, and he has put everything that he has in my charge. He is not greater in this house than I am, nor has he kept back anything from me except you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?'" (Genesis 39:8–9)

We can love our husbands by being his helpmeet, by making the home a refuge, making our marriage sexually exciting, submitting to his leadership and showing respect. Eleanor teaches wives about these give areas from a Biblical perspective.

God identified the reasons for his severe judgment on the Gentiles: They knew the Creator but rejected the Creator and embraced and worshipped the creature instead. God, being holy and just, had to act. God acted in a decisive way. You will hear about this today.

That you will see that without Christ, the Gentiles have no righteousness and are therefore left to their sinful whims and self-destructive ways.
Pursuing purity in your life including fleeing from sin. This means fearing God, looking away from images and scenes that lead to lust, eliminating known sources of temptation, and evading ungodly influences and compromising situations. Purity is worth the effort and shows your obedience to God.
Numbers 31 continues to describe the last days of Moses as the Lord commands that he destroy the Midianites. As will become typical, Israel does NOT follow orders until they are rebuked. We also deal with the accusation that God is "mean" and bad for killing off all but the innocent children and women.
