From the beginning of Genesis, God warns Adam and Eve that there would be enmity between her seed and the seed of the snake. Last week we saw the enmity start between Cain and Abel. Join us this week as the enmity plays out and men depart from the living God to go their own way. Yet in the midst of the gloom is a light. Another son will choose to serve the Lord and the remnant will continue. Join us as we look at Cain's departure and the birth of Seth.
What is the first distinction between the people of the Lord and the people of the world? Leviticus 18 prepares us for the evening sermon on the Lord's Day. In these thirty verses of Holy Scripture, the Holy Spirit teaches us that one great difference between the people of the Lord and the people of the world is that the Lord's people are committed to purity in nakedness and marriage.
Jesus was walking into a trap. Several traps, actually.
When Jesus entered the Temple in Matthew 21, the Pharisees, Sadducees and others planned to ask Him questions that might trap or make our Lord look bad before others. They wanted to destroy or hurt His credibility. In today's study, we'll see how Jesus responded.
Questions That We'll Answer:
A) What was the irony about the questions that Jesus was facing?
B) What was the point of Christ's parable about the wedding feast?
C) What happened to the improperly dressed 'wedding guest?'
In this chapter you will learn that God created the sexual intimacy in marriage between a wife and her husband to be a joy. It is not to be shameful or impure. It is important that you both meet each other's needs.

Sherry Jordan introduces the book series "The Godly Woman" written by Irma Warr. This book series addresses many topics and struggles that women go through in their marriage, family, and personal lives. Each chapter will be addressing a new topic.

Does what you have been taught line up with what you read in your Bible? Do you fully understand what you read or do you just rely on what someone has taught you? Many Christians have been deceived and blinded by Satan to the Gospel of Grace and seeing how to "Rightly Divide" the Word of Truth per Apostle Paul's instruction in 2 Timothy 2:15. Tradition can be dangerous to your spiritual health.
Closing Thought: Reward and punishment will be distributed upon Christ's return. Blessed is the wise and faithful slave who will inherit the Kingdom of God. Differing levels of punishment will be doled out to the unfaithful slaves, based on their level of defiance. But all of the punishment will be in eternal torment, separated from God's mercy forevermore. Ready or not, He's coming. Are you ready for the Master's return?
Even the best leaders, apart from Jesus, are imperfect. Take Jehoshaphat - he was an incredibly good king but he kept going back to associate himself with the wicked house of Ahab. The consequences of this and the arranged marriage for his son Jehoram contributed to the disastrous reign of his son and grandson. Despite all this, however, God's covenant remained intact.
