Because time is outside of my control, I must trust the eternal God Who is sovereign over all things.

East River Baptist Church - Hebrews 10:22-25

What I want to do in this particular message is to show you that the things that Job was suffering, according to his own words, were much like those of our Lord Jesus Christ. In doing this, I want to show you how Job's sufferings were something that Christ suffered under as well, in a greater way, so that Job would be forgiven of all of his sins, and established in his righteousness by and through Christ's grace. In relating these things, I believe that it will help us to see more of the reasons why God permits trials to take place in our lives. It is so that we might become more like the blessed Lord Jesus our Savior and Redeemer.
Let me draw 3 comparisons between Job and Christ in their sufferings. In relating these things to you, it is my prayer that we will bring these truths of the greatness of Christ's redemption with us into the Lord's Supper and meditate upon them, to the encouragement and strengthening of our hearts.

Community Bible Church - John 1:1-18
During this year's Christmas season we are going to look at the four different accounts of Christ's birth. Each has something to add to our understanding. Some by what they say, sometimes by what they don't say. Join us today as we look at John's gospel and the coming of the Word.

There are two sorts of sorrow - which leads to two different results.

What is the true meaning of Christmas?

King Hezekiah chose to be a compromiser. That led to problems for him and for the nation of Judah. He desired more time to live, and God granted him 15 more years, but he squandered that time.

Please join us as Pastor Andy brings us a message on how christians should treat believers and nonbelievers, and how we should respond to hate.

Bayshore Baptist Church - Ecclesiastes 11
Have you ever thought of writing a letter to your younger self? What would you say if you did? Would you keep things lighthearted or somber? Would you share something with yourself you wish you had heard when you were younger? What would it be?
It this section, we can imagine the Teacher writing a letter to his younger self (Spoiler: he's not actually doing this, but the approach fits the tone). We'll walk with him as he leads us through what it means to walk with God in a fallen world.

Have You Ever Wondered?
Have you ever wondered what God's love, wisdom, grace, and His Son have in common?
Have you ever wondered how it is that what they have in common should affect our view and value on everything?
Let's look in the word and talk about it.
May these truths equip you with a discerning mind, courageous heart, and a tender spirit for His work and your race.

Title: "What Will I See In Heaven "
Revelation 21:1-3
This passage teaches that heaven is a very real place, for all redeemed people to live for eternity. After all, everything in our spiritual life and destiny is in heaven , therefore, we ought to know a little bit about this wonderful place. John begins to describe heaven in this chapter and finishes it out in the next chapter.

Currytown Baptist Church - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 Peter 2:9
"Blessed / Happy" has nothing to do with emotional happiness. Blessed refers to your state of being -- you're on the right side because you're on the same side as Jesus.
Wisdom = aligning yourself with God and His reality
