Noah was a comfort in his day & generation.
Noah was a just man & perfect in his generation.
Noah walked with GOD.
Noah lived for the Lord who saved him.
Noah, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house.
Noah lived by Faith.
Revelation 22:18-19; Isaiah 29:11-13
Only Jesus Christ can open the seals on the book with seven seals. He is going to give us the ending of a great and glorious story. He will come and reign with a rod of iron. He is a good shepherd and He died in order that we might have life. If you reject Him, you will worship Him all the same.
Faithful Unto All Generations: It is a privilege to reach the present generation. How do we do this? We reach them by showing God's power through our lives. To show this power we must live faithful and consistent lives to the end.
Proverbs 30:11-14 " There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men."
The Gospel of the Kingdom - Message 107 - Brood of Vipers (Part 2) - Matthew 23:29-36. Jesus pronounces judgment upon this generation of religious leaders and people as it is their generation that will reach the ultimate height of rebelling against God by the persecution and execution of the Messiah and His followers.
It would seem that after the rebellion of Absalom and Sheba was put down, and the tribes of Israel and Judah were reunited, that everything would return to normal. Sadly, God was not through with His hand of correction upon the nation.
This is the Forty Fifth Sermon in the Series Kingdom, Dynasty and Glory; an exposition on the Second Book of Samuel.
The Lord's grace is a theme throughout the entire Bible. Grace was at the core of who Paul was as he gave his final advice to Timothy in this Book. Here he shows Timothy that grace is often shown intergenerationally. God is faithful to His Covenant from generation to generation, as was illustrated in Timothy's mother and grandmother. God's grace was also planned before the foundations of the world. He chose us in Christ because of undeserved grace, and this grace was embodied in all its splendor when Christ came into this world as our Savior.
God, in His grace, has given us the Gospel. And when we share the sound words of the Gospel with others, it is the loving thing to do. Since we know what we believe, we cannot help telling others and declaring what is right and wrong to the "woke culture" all around us. But only God's grace can make us strong. If we're saved by grace, we're called to live boldly by grace.
As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised
her voice and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you,
and the breasts at which you nursed!" But he said, "Blessed
rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
When the crowds were increasing, he began to say,
"This generation is an evil generation. It seeks for a sign, but no
sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah
became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will the Son of Man
be to this generation. The queen of the South will rise up at
the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn
them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom
of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.
The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this
generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of
Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.
"No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or under
a basket, but on a stand, so that those who enter may see the
light. Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is
healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your
body is full of darkness. Therefore be careful lest the light in
you be darkness. If then your whole body is full of light,
having no part dark, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with
its rays gives you light." (ESV)
