Breaking Down Barriers Acts 10:1-36Prejudice and partiality exist. From the beginning of time prejudice has existed (Cain and Abel). Prejudice is everywhere in the world—in every nation, state, city, and neighborhood. Prejudice (discrimination) even exists within families between parent and child, brother and sister, family and relatives. God loves the world. He loves everyone in the world. Yes, He gives us different backgrounds and distinctions, but it is His will that we would love and reach all people. It is God's will that Jews and Gentiles be one in Christ, yet there was great prejudice and mistreatment between the Jews and the gentiles. All of us grow up with some form of prejudice. In this passage we see how God intervenes to remove prejudice and opens the Gospel to all people.

Presence clearly matters to us. But the Bible reveals that presence also matters to God. In this study, we examine important scenes from the Old Testament that demonstrate 'the God of the Bible' is a God who delights to manifest His presence to sinners.

Servants For Christ - Exodus 3:1-15
The Importance of God's Name. A Name Like No Other. Exodus 3:1-6,9-15.God's name reveals he is the all-powerful God whom we can completely trust.God's name reveals His righteousness of His nature.Whoever calls on Jesus name will be saved. His name encourages us to trust Him with our well being.God is a holy God we are to approach with reverential fear.vv.1-6. We can trust that God will do what He says he will do. vv. 9-12. God's name reflects Hi Sovereign character that draws us into a trusting relationship with him. vv.13-15Moses fled from Egypt to the backside of the desert when he took the life of an Egyptian taskmaster to save an Israelite slave.Moses became a shepherd instead of a prince from Egypt.God had plans for Moses to lead his people out of bondage to freedom.God's name carries more importance than all other names of history. When God called Moses to lead his people out of Egypt, Moses needed to know the One sending Him.God revealed an important aspect of His nature through His name: "I AM THAT I AM". God was saying to Moses, "I have always been and will always be.I am the present tense God of the Hebrews who has the right to call them out and set you apart to lead them."We live in a world of unbelief and skepticism. People are ignorant of God, and they question God's existence and power to save and deliver man. This fact should not stir us to reject God's call; rather, it should stir us to declare God's power to save and deliver people. People need God; they need to be delivered and saved from the enslavement and death of this world. Therefore, we must declare the power of God to save and deliver them.

CLOSING THOUGHT: Jesus Christ and His cross are divisive! We can try to deny it, we can hope it's not true. We can attempt to create a false sense of peace with the world around us, and even our own families. But the fact of the matter is that every individual is on one side or the other concerning Jesus; with Him and in Him, or against Him and separated from Him.

Discernment Life Ministries - Revelation 9:13-19
Sixth Trumpet intensifies the Fifth Trumpet pushing it beyond addiction into death. Satan and his demons are not visible nor the actual agents of death. They are the instruments of Sin-Death which drives the Lost to Kill those who interfere with their plan to realize their "dream" {It is always about ME! mantra.

Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. 6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Israel had grown into a very fruitful vine, but she turned away from God, and began to wither. In fury God plucked her up, and cast her to the ground, and the east wind blew and dried up her fruit, and she was consumed in the fire of God's wrath.

The Strict Baptist Chapel - Numbers 15:3
And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock:
(Numbers 15:3)
1/ A sweet savour of things to come .
2/ A sweet savour of Christ .
3/ A sweet savour to God as his people worship as he has prescribed, believing in Christ .

The Lord Jesus Christ will purify His church as He calls His followers to be watchful.

Here in this Psalm, in verse 4, the Lord God is described as the Keeper of Israel. We know that these verses, which speak of His keeping, relate to us Gentiles just as much as the Jews, because Jesus Christ has broken down the barrier between Jew and Gentile and has made us into one spiritual people. Since this is the case, we can apply these verses to ourselves, because we know that through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we are a part of God's spiritual Israel. The Lord's keeping of His people is described for us here, in three wonderful ways. 1st – The Lord God is always there to keep your foot from slipping. (verse 3) 2nd – The Lord God is continually protecting you through the Mediation of His Son. (verses 4-7) And 3rd – The Lord God is continually guarding your going out and your coming in. (verse 8) As I relate these to you, I would have you to remember that the Lord Jesus died in order that these things could become a reality in your everyday experience.

We have come to the final part of our series on the Holy Spirit. Through this series, we've looked at numerous ministries of the Spirit as well as three vital truths of his work in our lives. Today, we look at three other vital truths and then consider what 1 Thessalonians 5:19 actually means when we're commanded to not quench the Spirit.
Sound the Battle Cry - 2 Peter 3:10-13; Malachi 4:1-3
This message will show that there will be a conflagration or burning with fire of the heavens and the earth.
It will also show that this conflagration is tied to the second coming of Christ.
The conflagration will burn both the material world and the enemies of Christ BEFORE they go to suffer eternal fire in hell.

East Georgia Road Baptist - James 3:1-12
You can use your tongue to do good or evil. It is a small member with a big influence on those around you.

What a wonderful adventure it has been to travel with Israel from Egypt's land to Sinai, and along the way to meet with God. We have been touring this book of the knowledge of God for nearly three years now; I preached the first sermon on Exodus on Sunday, November 22, 2020. We have seen how God brought His people from slavery to worship, how He revealed Himself first at the burning bush, then in the ten plagues, in the passover, in the Exodus, and in His words establishing a covenant with Israel at Sinai. Now we approach the final climax of the book as God's glory moves into the tabernacle to dwell among His people — the very thing for which He brought them out of Egypt. "And they shall know that I am the LORD their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am the LORD their God" (Exodus 29:46). He wanted to dwell with His people — and He is. That, my friends, is where the book closes. But though it's a great stopping place from a literary point of view, it is not the end of the story the Bible tells. God's residence with Israel in a tent was temporary — but His residence among us in Christ is permanent. Meanwhile, the book ends with the word "journey," pointing forward to Numbers and the route to the Promised Land, and reminding us that we are called to journey with Christ, our true tabernacle, toward the Father, deeper into the knowledge of God.

East River Baptist Church - Psalm 24

Faithful Unto All Generations: Out of the many names in 1 Chronicles, we find the prayer of Jabez. He seeks God for the Lord's help, His hand and His hindrance. What marks his prayer is his seeking God for God's glory and not his own. What are we seeking God for, in our prayers?

We must be careful to build up our church on the foundation of the Lord Jesus because the day will come in which we each give account to God for our workmanship.

Luke 12:[49] "I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled! [50] I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is my distress until it is accomplished! [51] Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. [52] For from now on in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three. [53] They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." [54] He also said to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, 'A shower is coming.' And so it happens. [55] And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, 'There will be scorching heat,' and it happens. [56] You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time? [57] "And why do you not judge for yourselves what is right? [58] As you go with your accuser before the magistrate, make an effort to settle with him on the way, lest he drag you to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and the officer put you in prison. [59] I tell you, you will never get out until you have paid very last penny." (ESV)
