Christ, the Narrow Gate, is found by grace through faith alone.
Many believe that the hard way to the narrow gate is a reference to earning one's way into heaven or glory. Jesus speaks nothing of earning or meriting glory. The hard way was and is the way of the Triune God in saving each of His sinful children.
There is an Easy way through life, with no cares or worries; oh it has pit falls, trials, and troubles all humans have this; but then there is what is said by some as a hard way to live life on this Earth as a Child of God, but believe me even with the trials and trouble the blessings God gives is far more wonderful than anything the World has to offer!!
Who are in great danger from false teachers? 2Timothy 3:6–9 looks forward to the second serial reading of in morning public worship on the coming Lord's Day. In these four verses of Holy Scripture, the Holy Spirit teaches us that pastors must not only turn away from false teachers themselves but also protect the most vulnerable in their congregation.

It was Jesus' coming to this woman when at the well which enlightened her as to her need of salvation. We think we know what it means to be favored and the highly favored are the ones who get everything they could possibly imagine. Accept when it comes to God anyway. His plans rarely take us the easy route even when it seems like everything is set up for that.
The Gospel of the Kingdom - Message 70 - I Will Give You Rest - Matthew 11:20-30. We learned previously in chapter 11 that John the Baptist was having doubts about Christ because He had not fulfilled the expectation that the Messiah would judge the wicked. Of course, Jesus will eventually come back as Judge and condemn the lost, and in our text today we learn that those in the most danger of severe judgment were those who had seen and heard what He was doing in Galilee.
