Because God's infinite majesty can be seen in the heavens, we ought to moved to awestruck humility to think that such a God would care for us and call us to rule this world in His stead – the very thing we have failed to do through sin, bringing ultimate fulfillment and restoration only through Christ.
I. The Majesty of God in the Beauty of Creation vv 1-2
II. The Majesty of Man made in God's Image vv 3-4
III. The Majesty God Intended, Broken then Restored vv 5-9; Heb 2:5-9
Have you ever thought of writing a letter to your younger self? What would you say if you did? Would you keep things lighthearted or somber? Would you share something with yourself you wish you had heard when you were younger? What would it be?
It this section, we can imagine the Teacher writing a letter to his younger self (Spoiler: he's not actually doing this, but the approach fits the tone). We'll walk with him as he leads us through what it means to walk with God in a fallen world.
In this final chapter you will learn about the joy of raising children, but also the hardest work of maybe your life. To raise children in a Godly way will take extra work and extra time in prayer. God wants you to experience His love, joy and peace in your family.
Pastor walks his children through Westminster Shorter Catechism question 8—especially explaining how God sovereignly carries out His own purposes, because He is a (the) true and living God.
Q8. How doth God execute His decrees? God executeth His decrees in the works of creation and providence.

Your children are baptised because they are God's children
The modern objections to this
The Scriptural foundations for this
The practical implications of this
Have we considered the amount of demonic forces that are stacked up against us daily? Do we realize how much power we receive from God that is working to protect us in our day-to-day lives? Have we considered what would be the outcome if God decided to take His hand off of us for 2-seconds? It's astounding to realize just how valuable we are to the God who owns and rules all things. Please listen to "Walking in Power," by Pastor Jamie, to find out more.
If you and I are not resolved and determined to follow Christ
each day, you won't. If you and I would be DEVOUT CHRISTIANS,
we must follow Christ with "purpose of heart"! Acts 11:19-23,
Every one of us, children of God, should enter each
day that God gives us holy intentions and purpose of
heart to follow Christ!
These were David's RESOLUTIONS as he took the throne of
Israel…they should be our resolutions as children of our
Reigning Lord and King.
