In all thy ways acknowledge Him. This is the qualification for God to direct our paths. To acknowledge God is more than just to give Him a tip of the hat as we go about what we want to do. To acknowledge God demands a change in us. It must be according to truth, and be accompanied by true obedience. Acknowledging God is our response to the voice of his Spirit through his Word.

Christians need to continually yield themselves to the Lord in the fight against the Flesh.

Daniel 3:8-12 " Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. 9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. 10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: 11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up."

Submission is a key all things concerning Christian character and conduct. It is the act of yielding to power or authority. It is obedience without murmuring. It can also be the acknowledgement of a fault. This key matter is under heavy attack in this rebellious generation. Feminism is at the head of the rebellion of these last days. It has poisoned the minds of women and robbed them of their God-given design. Generations now have been raised under it's bitter and angry influence. Submission is God's way for all of us: "Submitting yourselves one to another..." It makes life sweet and makes for peaceful homes, churches, and nations.

Set Apart: By Christ Romans 6:5-14 In Christ, we are dead to sin but alive to God. What's something you were surprised went viral?In the Movie we have a Ghost.Finding a ghost named Ernest haunting their new home turns Kevin's family into overnight social media sensations. About something "going viral," something that is passed around and shared quickly among people. When that something is a disease, like Covid or the plague, it can be deadly. Like the plague, sin ravages peoples' lives.Like the plague, sin ravages peoples' lives!!!!Sin remains a struggle for believers. Even though we have trusted Christ and chosen to follow Him, the sin nature in us still tries to assert itself. As we grow in Christ, we learn to resist temptation, sin, and the persistent tug of the sin nature. By His death and resurrection, Christ has rendered sin and death powerless over us, so we must learn to live in that truth, no longer letting sin have control.

How to Yield

There is no union with Christ until faith goes both ways. Many have the idea that Jesus is just waiting anxiously for us to make a move - any kind of move in his direction, and He will immediately accept us and manifest himself to us. The Bible is clear here that MANY believed on his name, but He did not commit himself to them. He knew what was IN them. He knew they were not yet willing to commit themselves completely to Him, so He did not commit himself to them. Whatever promises He offers must be reciprocated in love, or there is no salvation. "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." He says to us, and until we are willing to vow the same to Him with an honest and yielded heart, there can be no new birth.

We finish Acts 15 and watch how Paul and Barnabas split from one another.

In this sermon, we continue our discussion of living out our perfection. We live out our perfection by doing good.

The third temptation of Christ is the heaviest of the three. The lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes are enough to keep most people from ever being brought into the light of truth. This last temptation is for the very life. It is the choice that we make to keep our life or yield it to God. It is the decision that brings us to salvation and a new birth, or condemns us forever to a devil's hell.

Romans 6:17-23 " But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20 ¶ For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
