If businesses can successfully and effectively control how people think about their products, how much more Satan can control how we think. He sells his warped, perverted, and evil products to humanity with such mastery and subtlety, people do not even realize they are being duped. We have entered the era of Artificial Intelligence being the marketeer. The programmed has become the programmer." AI can program better, market better, and pesuade better than people can. With AI able to program itself and its ability to market products and ideas, AI has become the unseen hand that controls how we think. Machines are programmed to govern us. AI has "learned" to connect to people emotionally. It has learned to express emotion and has successfully convinced some programmers that AI has developed consciousness and feelings. Machines are so good at expressing emotion, people can become emotionally sympathetic to them and care about them as they would another human. Our world is designed to deceive, manipulate, and control the decisions we make. We are immersed in an ocean of lies. It is not possible to avoid being influenced and challenged with wrong ideas and narratives. Knowing this is the first step to learning how to protect yourself from deception. Protecting ourselves from deception is no easy task. It must be intentional. The effort to protect ourselves must match the intensity of Satan's effort to deceive. If we are not vulnerable to being swayed by words and gimmicks, why do companies spend so much money on marketing? Perhaps, we are more vulnerable than we think. In such a world, you should wonder how many of your thoughts and decisions are really your own. Job's suffering causes him to respond in numerous ways--some good, some not so good. However, above all, Job's worldview that his Redeemer lives and will vindicate him overrides every circumstance. In contrast, the worldviews of his "comforters" cause them to counsel Job in accordance with their worldview. We all have biases (worldviews) that impact what we do and moreover what we teach others. Pay attention and make sure that worldview is congruent with Jehovah's!

Labor Day is about freedom. It is about the freedom to choose how we will live without coercion. Labor Day was intended to memorialize freedom from exploitation in the work place. But freedom in every place at all times is the goal. Some say that the account of Ananias and Sapphira shows the church is socialistic. This is not true. There was no exploitation or coercion. No one was forced to sell their possessions They were not forced to give all or any of the proceeds from the sale of their possessions to the church. Jesus came to give freedom. He gives us the freedom to choose. He gives those who believe His message freedom from bondage to sin. He gives us freedom to serve Him in His church. He gives us freedom to choose honesty rather than dishonesty, to choose modesty rather than immodesty, to choose what you will believe, and what you will do with your life. The church Jesus built is about His message of freedom. It is a message that springs from the fountain of truth. It is a message possible only because of truth. What has truth to do with freedom? Knowing the truth allows you to choose the real consequences. One of our problems as Christians in America is that our Christianity doesn't COST US anything. Instead of believing and accepting what Christ said about how we will suffer and be persecuted as His disciples and followers in this evil world, instead of taking up our own personal cross daily, and being intimately associated with the sufferings of Christ in our lives, we bend over backward in America to be accommodating to our family, friends, and to the world. This…. Because WE HAVE counted the cost of following Christ, and the cost is more than we are willing to pay, so, we capitulate and exchange our Christianity for "a religion" that costs us nothing…. no suffering shame for the gospel, no cross to bear, and no persecution or dealing with those that hate us because we love Christ! Child of God, that's not Christianity!

Like Jesus, attempts are made every day to discredit the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, the Biblical worldview, and the messengers of His truth. Unfortunately, many of His messengers discredit themselves without any help by saying they believe in Christ but living like they do not. We live in a world of lies, and we are being manipulated every day. Why? Because the goal of manipulating narratives or messages is to control how we think. There is a battle for our minds, for how we think. The fierceness of political unrest in the world is evidence that this is a serious battle, whether you believe it or not, and whether you engage in it or not. How does deception take place? We know pride makes us susceptible. But how does manipulated information reach our minds? How does the poison of deception get into our thoughts? How are bad ideas communicated? Language like programming code is the means of conveying ideas and instructions to achieve specific outcomes. Like computers, humanity communicates and validates information and ideas with language. If machines can be more persuasive in the way they communicate, they can be used to manipulate a message to sound more credible than the truth. Compounding and contributing to the confusion in our world today are the expressions of outrage, the wringing of the hands, and the thoughtless questions about what is happening. These things contribute to the feeling of confusion, the inability to understand what is happening, and the sense of hopelessness. It also speaks to the ignorance of Biblical explanations. The Bible explains what is happening. Those who understand the Bible and who discern the times with a Biblical worldview know what is happening and why. It is important that we be not caught up in the confusion of our times. The world is suffering from the ravages of a war few are aware of. A "Biblical world view" is not the same as a "Christian world view," A "Christian world view" can be different from denomination to denomination – it can even differ from Christian to Christian. I also said that I believe that all born again believers should embrace and live according to a Biblical world view. A biblical world view comes directly from God's all inspired Word.

Worldview is about gaining power to control the rules about how we will live and to prevent competing worldview opponents from gaining control. To make the rules, you must control the culture and government. You must have the power to prevent competitors from taking control from you. Using this one principle about the need to control the rules serving as your reference point to explain what is happening in the world will give you insight and understanding of your times, you will not be surprised by the tactics employed by those who reject the Biblical worldview. The Biblical worldview relies on persuasion to win souls to Christ and His worldview. This approach is based on the principle that people must make up their own minds about whether they will believe God or not. Manipulation is about manipulating others to conform to your worldview.
