Today we come to the most famous miracle in Exodus: the parting of the Red Sea. After both the Israelites and Egyptians had witnessed the miracles of the ten plagues and finally coming to the point where the Israelites have left Egypt, you would think that the both the Egyptians and Israelites would recognize and worship the Lord, right? Is that what happens?
How does YHWH honor His priests and teach the people to? Leviticus 7:22–38 looks forward to the evening sermon on the coming Lord's Day. In these seventeen verses of Holy Scripture, the Holy Spirit teaches us that YHWH not only reserves His own portions, but leads His people in designating for the priests a specific portion from what is the people's.
