14th Bible Study in "The Life of Joseph" - Jacob's faith revived because Joseph yet lives. The believer's faith is revived when The Word from the Greater Joseph (Jesus Christ) speaks to our hearts.

Hillburn Drive Grace Baptist Church, San Antonio - Annual Bible Conference. Message 2. Faith Shall Be Sight - 2 Cor. 4:16-18; 5:1-11. Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
The world constantly bombards saints with its version of truth, goodness, and beauty. However, the child of God (using scripture as the standard for truth, goodness, and beauty) continually compares and purges these false standards from his/her mind.
Nebuchadnezzar's dreamed statue was top heavy, with a very weak base. When a stone from Heaven hit the toes, the entire statue shattered into millions of pieces. This is a very clear prophecy of the future of human government and a Messianic Kingdom. Learn if you will be in that Kingdom and what your role may be.
Peter provided an exhortation on the topic of "revival" to the CFBC family on Wednesday night. From many Scriptures, both OT and NT, he showed how Revival is God specially coming upon His people and awakening them to His glory and His power. Let's pray for this revival IN us and AMONG us and that it would so work THRU us to affect many around us!
How quickly what were considered rights and freedoms in the everyday affairs of society can, and have been, restricted and even removed. Where you can go, what you can buy, who you can be with, when you can do certain activities are no longer individual choices but are government controlled. As God has revealed what will be happening in the world as it nears His appointed time for the rapture of the church followed by the seven year tribulation there will have been an overt and obvious ripening for the judgment to come. Sin in the world has become shameless, blatant, openly defiant, having gone from tolerance to even a demand for approval. Such are the times at hand. Believers are to be aware of what is going on to not succumb to the pressures with fear or conformity and be all the more diligent to live lifestyles of trust in the Lord and obedience to Him. In so doing, with the certain hope foretold of what is to come, the believer then can be a witness and pleasing to the Lord no matter the changes in geography or landscape.
The fall of Babylon was great and final so did the reign of that great city end and in the Day of the Lord, God will judge that world system called the Revived Roman Empire. Daniel gives us a view of some things to come.
The wisom of Proverbs is Jesus. We are always being saved on His terms. We are in the process of being saved. Wisdom is looking at things from God's perspective. Stay away from wicked people. It is God who gives integrity.
