The voice of God has been heard by many. Jeremiah proclaimed God's Word, but and unfaithful and disobedient people refused to hear and obey. How do you listen to the voice of God?

After the wall was built under Nehemiah, in hearing of God's Word His people are awakened and revived. We note 10 responses to God's Word, that led to a spiritual revival. A deep awareness of God, confession of sin and Godly sorrow are precursors to real blessing.

Look for the former and Latter Rain . The Lord provides moderately. The Lord gives exactly what we need! Feed on the word of God! It is refreshing. Ezekiel 34:20-26 There shall be showers of Blessing!

Once the rebuilding work was over, Nehemiah organised the Lord's people. We consider 5 priorities he had to restore the city of God. A wonderful spiritual awakening occurs. The people call for God's word to be read, knowing their sins would be revealed. They understood, their hearts were moved, and lives changed.

The great reality of the blessed is that the Word of God endures forever. The question is not IF it can be trusted, but rather WILL it be trusted.

Trouble will always be present. Yet, the saint of God must learn the fundamentals of spiritual endurance. They must seek the Word, stand in its promises, and wait for God's provision. He will not fail His saints.

In every believer's life there are times we feel dry, where the Lord seems distant. The Psalmist asks the Lord to bring revival to his soul. This is the Holy Spirit's work. It comes when we ask "wilt thou not revive us again?" and hear God's Word to us.

The people forsook the Lord and replaced Him and found their souls devoid and empty. Jeremiah preaches his first message and the people can choose to backslide or come back to God.

Much is being said of late about revival with revivals supposedly breaking out in certain locales. Of course if God's Word is not the central focus of one's life or any supposed revival there cannot be a and will not be one.
