As Sons and Daughters of God, it is our obligation (responsibility) to do what is right and just on the earth, so that God's will be done. To maintain the character of those being made in His image and likeness we must not grow weary of well-doing for such where we created. It is His glorying in us as lights in this world, that's His joy which is our strength.

God has designed the perfect armor for you to wear in your conflict with Satan and his angels.As a believer you are in this war and need to always be wearing this wonderful armor so that you will stand firm against the schemes of the devil. This is a study of the glory that God alone deserves and which will be revealed, without end, forever and ever. Our prayer is that we know His glory more and more, and then by His grace seek to live out or show forth His glory in our lives. Out of the riches of His glory come His most wonderful gifts to us, His vessels of mercy. His glory is powerfully revealed in His glorious gospel, as the gospel makes clear what His character is truly like. Here we continue to look at God's wonderful kindness revealed in giving of salvation through the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ and our responsibility to live out His kindness to those around us by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Elders are to be willing servants, and humble so as not to Lord over the flock in a oppressive way. Peter also gives good advice and exhortations others in the congregation.

Show me your faith in Christ by "keeping yourself unspotted from the world". I thought that I was kept by God and by His power! You are! Jonah 2:9: "Salvation is of the LORD". IT IS God's business to save you and to keep you saved. This is a wonderful truth! God WILL NOT FAIL to do that; He will lose none of those for whom He suffered and died. John 10:27-30 Being kept by God, and keeping ourselves communicate to us "The power and Sovereignty of God" and "The Responsibility of Man".

God gives new hearts, and He continually puts into those hearts love to do His will.
