Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
we live in a time when changes for Biblical standards are a non-starter with some. They have this attitude of self-righteousness, having it their way and that justice is relative. The preacher still has to preach Repent for the Kingdon of Heaven is at Hand. That fire and brimstone of turn or burn, not trying to turn goats into sheep, realizing there are two seeds in the earth.
The God of the Bible is very skillful in asking questions. He does not ask to learn something from us but he asks in order for us to learn. His questions reveal our heart and they can spur us to a proper response to him. This podcast looks at several questions God asked people beginning in Eden with Adam.

All of us have sinned. Surely, we accept that. The issue is our attitude to sin and whether we have truly repented of it. Godly sorrow results in a total change of mind and a turning round and leads to salvation in Christ. Worldly sorrow, is insincere and results in spiritual death.
Today Brendan Maynard shares with the congregation of Chardon Christian Fellowship about the Feast of Trumpets. As with many of the fall feasts they are a shadow of things to come. From creation to preparation for battle Brendan shares the various events that are celebrated and associated with a blast from a trumpet. Through it all we are reminded of the work that we have to do until the Lord comes again. God bless you this week!
Could this psalm without title or author have much to say to even us this day? Could this random list of verses from other psalms actually be a sermon calling the now returned Babylonian exiles to repentance, reverence and resolution? It seems so. Listen and follow along.
What do the Jewish people need? Land? Peace with their neighbors? Money?...What they need is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The Apostle Paul preached the Gospel to the Jew first and then the Gentile, showing his audience that Jesus Christ fulfills the Words of the Prophets, the promise of God. There is only one way to be freed from the debt of sin, and that is faith in Jesus Christ.
Brothers and Sisters in the Lord:
If you want revival, you have to read the Word of God and know what needs to be done. This has been proven every time there has been Christian revival. That's what the Jews did: They read the Word and they started to obey. But what about their past sins? How would they deal with them? Their sins couldn't just disappear! They could not deal with them as false religions: Give money to the poor…beat themselves on the back…or as it common today…bury the memory of their sins. No! None of these things was acceptable to a just God. Rather, they needed to confess their sins… And after confession, with their relationship restored with God, they had to then begin to praise him. This is the other part of revival. This is what you will hear about.
