Not only has man polluted and defiled the Sabbath, but since my youth, I can see how he has gradually polluted Modern-day Christian beliefs on Sunday the Lord's Day.. It leaves the others that are leaving the Church with confusion because the Church trying to enforce or promote a day as Holy that, they have to twist scripture to say God changed His day, leaving confusion about God's immutability of Him changing, plus such a drastic change with subtilty if what false religion says is true.

We are gleaning from the Book of Proverbs to gain important building blocks and to see some of the facets of a Biblical worldview. Once discovered, these principles from many of the proverbs will help form and sustain a good outlook on life.

we have a duty after God's salvation to walk in justice according to Micah 6:8. A faith that has works, begins to do the work of God, and the Church will be in the process of being judged at the present time so that we will not face judgment later. He that is spiritual judges all things through the spirit led life in Christ Jesus, helping to establish the Law by Faith.

Greetings and welcome! This is our daily devotional for September 7, 2023. Today we continue focussing on how to read God's Word. Perspective, prayer, and patience are key! Thanks for joining us.

The primary motivational factor in the Christian's life is their love of Christ. This message addresses that and shows the areas where and how it applies to our walk.

Hebrews 11:13-16 13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

Pain is often thought of as a curse when it can be a blessing, because it brings pressure to our body, mind, emotions, and even our spirits. Nevertheless, there is pressure when there is pain and it cannot be ignored. Satan attacks Job's possessions. He kills his children. Job refuses to give in. He comes back for round two and attacks his body and through his wife, attacks his soul. Again, Job is steadfast. Then Satan attacks his spirit and does so through the people Job trusts the most and their influence creates doubt that heretofore, Job never considered. The pressure caused by pain can be devastating not so much on your possessions, or your physique, or even your soul. Where it is most devastating is what it can do to your spirit.

God gives wisdom with our priorities and purpose. God gives love that fuels comebacks and joy. God gives favor that includes strength and impact.

When God allows us to suffer, we should strengthen our faith by reminding ourselves what is true about us and about God. (Note, the first 30 seconds is a little choppy, but the rest of the recording seems relatively clear.)

We continue to consider Ephesians 4:14 and the trickery and deceitful scheming of false teachers. Last week, we considered the trickery of Roman Catholicism with respect to various doctrines, including justification. Today, we consider that as well, plus its manifestation in closet Catholics, like NT Wright and other proponents of the "New Perspective on Paul." We also consider the error of "eternal justification", a view held by various primitive Baptists, and we show the consequence of ideas. When you depart from the truth in one area, it will always lead to wreckage in other areas as well. The doctrines of the Bible are tied together inseparably.
