When a nation has federal laws against, the damage, destruction and discarding of a nest and its eggs, therefore protecting the animals from the people, but nothing in place to protect a child within the womb of its mother, from these same people, something is off. Bill -C4 became law in Canada on January 8, 2022. According to this bill it makes it a criminal offence: If someone is found guilty of causing another person to undergo conversion therapy; Or if you are found guilty of removing a child from Canada to undergo conversion therapy abroad; Or promoting or advertising conversion therapy; Or if you are found guilty of receiving a financial or other material benefit from the provision of conversion therapy. What is conversion therapy? What is Biblical sexuality? Is this bill an attempt by Satan to prevent the LGBTQ community from hearing the Good news of the Gospel? What should our response be?

Do you really believe God or is your situation causing you such anxiety that you fear that God has forgotten you or somehow lost control. Listen to how this way of thinking is sinful and how that whatever happens in your life or in this world is under the control of God - true it may not feel it at the moment as your life is probably in turmoil but God is working it all to His sovereign will & you should rest in that.

In this second consideration of Taking Liberties With Our Liberties, we look more specifically at how the church is obeying Government during this period of national emergency. We consider how that authorities are appointed by God, and that Christians should not normally resist good laws and practices, but should submit to them 'for conscience sake'. The Christian does however have a right to resist if any authority ceases to do good and plainly goes against the expressed rule of God's word. Christians should not be expected to be a pushover, but our compliance with what is handed down to us by authorities should not be considered weakness. We need to be respectful of authority, and where we can, we should uphold the rule of law, but equally be must be vigilant, and ensure that not even Government 'Takes Liberties with Our Liberties'.

Constitutional rights legislated by the government of the land of the United States or anywhere else cannot, does not, and will not change the will and Word of God. Believers must not adjust their views and beliefs to those of public opinion but be steadfast in their commitment to God and His Word. Why believers hold the view they do on the matters of life is then not a matter of personal preference but simply a conviction based on God’s perfect will. For the believer the Word of God is both their guide and restraint from sin as they live under constant pressure from the flesh, the world, and the Devil to rebel against God. God has spoken. God does not change. Sin is still sin even if everyone would disagree with God’s perfect standards of righteousness. All sin have sinned, all will be judged, and today God is yet offering forgiveness for all sinners to any who will repent and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Christ's final public message is a tearing indictment of the Pharisees, their hypocrisy, and their commitment to a horrible false religion. It was false because it knew not Christ. It was false because it turned converts into apostates. It was false because it turned the love of God into a labyrinthine set of laws. It was false because it laid a foundation for Godless hypocrisy.
