In this lesson, we review how the Lord does not share that which is rightfully His, that all honor, glory and worship is due to Him, for He is the one true and living God. Mormonism's greatest error is at this very point. We discuss Mormon beliefs as well as the difference between communicable and incommunicable attributes of God.
The Gospel preached elicits a response. For some the message of Christ Jesus is a welcomed blessing compared to the miserable religions of the World which demand performance. For others the message of Christ brings contempt and opposition. Here we see that the response of the Jews to the message of Christ led to the message of Christ being brought to the Gentiles.
New Heart, New Spirit_32Ezekiel 36:1-38 Ever since the LORD promised the land of Canaan to Abraham and his descendants, invaders have trampled upon the land. All the people who have abused the land of Israel down through history have overlooked one crucial fact: the Holy Land belongs to God Himself. He has designated the land to be the seat of His government when the Messiah returns to set up God's kingdom on earth.Since the land belongs to the LORD, anything that defiles it also profanes His name.Another fact often overlooked by the abusers of God's land is this: the LORD loves the people He chose to live in His holy land. The Jews are His chosen people, and His honor is wrapped up with them, both when they sin and when they suffer. In Ezekiel's day, God's holy land and His people were both suffering. God had promised the land to them in the covenant with Abraham. Therefore, He gave Ezekiel a very special message for His people, a message that promised a bright future for both the land and the people. A day was coming when God was going to renew the land and restore His transformed people to it.
Life never turns out quite as we planned and some have, it seems, more than their fair share of sorrow and pain - yet God through it all is working out His purposes. In this sermon Peter McIntyre explores the life of Rachel, with her betrayals, disappointments, and failures - yet God brought her to a place of faith.
It is a shameful thing when a professing Christian is unforgiving toward repentant sinners. It might be because he or she isn't really forgiven and is a false professor. As Christians, we should display our love with forgiveness and not seek to unnecessarily expose sin that is under the blood of Jesus.

Christians glorify God when we are in unity with God. We are to strive to be more like Christ, recognizing we have been delivered from darkness to doctrine. God will assist us as we move and reorient our lives to glorify Him.
Imagine how much joy you would have if you could derive happiness from other people's good fortune. There's always someone who is receiving good things, so if you could take pleasure from that, you would have unlimited joy in your life. Happiness would never be out of your reach. But there's one thing that prevents that from happening. Today, we'll learn from Philippians 1 what that is.
A lack of repentance can keep us from enjoying fellowship with God (part 2 of this series), as can our choices (part 3 of this series). This message discusses how that our emotions can keep us from enjoying fellowship with God (4th and final part of this series).
