Hezekiah was a dangerous king. He portrayed himself as a God-fearing king, but he was not. Even the enemies of God knew he was a fraud. It was of God's mercy that the people of Israel did not rebel more against him. It is important a godly leader to be a godly leader.
This Week on "The Friends of Israel Today" Radio:
Happy Thanksgiving, friends! As we celebrate the holiday of gratitude, there's no better time to study Scripture's teachings about thankfulness—specifically the laws for saying "thank you" to God laid out in Leviticus. Giving thanks is a circular act in a relationship with God, not a one-and-done deal. What does that look like for you? Find out in this week's Thanksgiving-themed episode, and find out how an Israelite could manage to eat 200 pounds of lamb in one day!

We discuss the encounter Jesus had with the 10 Leper. All were physically healed, but only one was spiritually healed--the one who returned and was thankful. Are you thankful today? Are you publicly thankful for the spiritual things God has done in your life?

God created is six ordinary days. Thus, Genesis 1 in ordinary Hebrew narrative. Genesis 1:2 forms an outline for the rest of the creation week. Genesis 1:2 states three incomplete aspects of the created order after God created the heavens and the earth: 1) Creation was dark, 2) Creation was uninhabitable, 3) Creation was uninhabited. God's creates light to vill the darkness. God brings forth the dry land and the plants to make the earth habitable. And God fills the sky, the water, and the land with creatures. Psalm 104 shows God's tender loving care for His creatures.
In this message at Quentin Road we are honored to help bring the Christian community together in solidarity with Israel. Please listen and show your supports. Pastor Jim Scudder Jr. gives reasons why Christians NEED to stand with the nation and people of Israel in such a turbulent time.
Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a completely sinless life, and then was accused and crucified, and yet though His own falsely accused Him the Judge in this case said he seen no fault in this man. Jesus is God in the flesh, and created all the universe and yet came to live like a normal man and yet sinless. So He could be crucified and pay our sin debt. Jesus is our advocate before the Father.
We take a final look at Exodus. Israel as a people is directed by the Lord and God separates them out and unto Himself. Lastly, they are distinguished by the Lord as He sanctifies them, and the Tabernacle is constructed and erected in the wilderness as the second book of the Bible comes to a close.
We begin looking into the outline of Genesis. in the first eleven chapters we have God's created People and beginning with chapter 12 to the end of the book, we have God's Chosen People, or the Hebrew family which began with Abraham. This is the book of beginnings, and what a beginning it is for the Bible!
The sun raises on the wicked and the righteous. It rains on the just and the unjust. This is the love of God. The love of God has been demonstrated since the beginning of time. We are fallen and when we try to demonstrate God's perfect love, we do it imperfectly.
There is rest in the gospel message!
