God created is six ordinary days. Thus, Genesis 1 in ordinary Hebrew narrative. Genesis 1:2 forms an outline for the rest of the creation week. Genesis 1:2 states three incomplete aspects of the created order after God created the heavens and the earth: 1) Creation was dark, 2) Creation was uninhabitable, 3) Creation was uninhabited. God's creates light to vill the darkness. God brings forth the dry land and the plants to make the earth habitable. And God fills the sky, the water, and the land with creatures. Psalm 104 shows God's tender loving care for His creatures.
