Jesus has come as the Seed of the woman, the Seed of Abraham, and the Son of David. He is not only the promised King, but God the Son, Who conquers Satan and obeys in our place—and Who pours out God the Spirit upon us to give us life by His Word.
Christians have a newly created, creative identity in Christ and the uniqueness of each one is found in the good works God enabled them to perform for the glory of God. Our value is not in what we do or don't do, but who we are "in Christ." You are His Masterpiece.
5th Sunday Questions & Answers (Q&A)
Do you think it is problematic for Christians to go to gyms, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. after church on Sundays since it encourages people to work on Sundays unnecessarily?
If our loved ones have passed and weren't Christians, do they reach out to us in dreams and presenting to us through nature, sound, smell, inertia, etc
Should Christians celebrate Halloween?
In direct correlation with your messages on the power of prayer for the unbeliever, how do we pray for those who have evil tendencies that are consistent and affecting others at our work place? I have prayed that God help and guide me on how to approach/communicate with this person.
Could you help me understand how we are to interpret and follow 1 Corinthians 11 re: head coverings? Specifically, I wonder how to handle verses 5, 10, 13, & 15 regarding the requirements of a woman. Is her hair a sufficient covering, or is even the hair to be covered, and if so, when?
The human mind is incredibly powerful with a tremendous impact on the body, soul, and spirit. Learn to examine your life for "sin steps" that lead to trajic consequences, then find how to realcaim your mind for the Lord. The neuro-pathways follow the road most traveled, so training our mind take a lot of time and effort!
In this message I would like you to think with me about what the Father's giving Christ to be head of all things to the church involves. It involves, 1st of all – The Father's giving Christ to be Head to rule over all things in His Church and to defend her. And 2nd – It means the Father's giving Christ to be Head to love, nurture and cherish her. It was the Father's purpose from the beginning, even from before the foundation of the world, to give His only-begotten Son to be her Head. It has always been His intention, through His Son, to lead her into all the different advancing stages of glory that the He has died to purchase for her.
We should have unity instead of division in the body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4

the spiritual leaders of Christ's holy church should be carefully chosen and then carefully followed for Jesus' sake.
Carefully Choosing Church Leaders
The Universal Gospel Ministry
Carefully Following Church Leaders
Christ's words this morning present a strong challenge to those who would separate root and fruit, or head and heart. Christ is not the least bit interested in treating the wounds of His people lightly, or of pretending like there is peace when there is no peace. Jesus Christ is interested in the whole man, and this means that His gospel brings peace to the whole man. In contrast to the Pharisees who concern themselves with externals and empty words, Christ starts at the core. Christ conquers from inside out. By addressing the root, the fruit is able to come forth. This is a wisdom from on high that attacks both our doctrinal and our moral laziness. If head and heart are separated in our physical bodies, it brings death, and the same is true for spiritual realities. Charles Spurgeon once said of John Bunyan "Prick him anywhere, and you will find that his blood is Bibline, the very essence of the Bible flows from him. He cannot speak without quoting a text, for his soul is full of the Word of God." Let us likewise be a people who so internalize the grace and the Word of God that it comes out our fingertips no matter what we're doing. May our thoughts, words, and actions sing in harmony as they reflect glory back to our Saviour.
