Ezekiel's vision at the river Chebar is a striking and strange part of Scripture. We see here first the man Ezekiel; second the marvel that he saw, and theirdly the majesty of the God who appeared to him. We see God transcendent, and God immanent, God with us.

The Splendour of God in His Goodness (Ex 33); Creation (Ps 19); Holiness (Isa 6); Son (Jh 1:14) and Scripture Ps 138:2).

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. As He prepared for Calvary, Christ's desire was to always be with His people. As believers we too must yearn for the presence of God, in our lives and churches. Such a yearning is a sure mark of a true believer, separating those who know God and those who don't. We long to be with Him, where He is.

Paul and his cohorts worked with all their hearts to build the kingdom of God, for his glory. Whose kingdom are you building?

In Isaiah 41-42 the LORD speaks to Isaiah and presents his case against idolatry by expressing what Jehovah does and what idols can never do. To demonstrate His Glory the LORD goes through a myriad of things He will do to show that He, alone, is worthy of our praise. There is room for no other! I call these the "I wills" of Jehovah and His promises are sure. He will accomplish everything He says He will do because the promises (the I wills) of God are without repentance!

What can turn God's glory from a blessing into a curse? Leviticus 10:1–7 looks forward to the evening sermon on the coming Lord's Day.
