There is much confusion in today's church concerning the role of women. However, the Scripture is clear when it defines the various roles that men and women are to fulfill within the church and the home. Women play a critical role, that if it is not filled leads to the downfall of families, then the church, and ultimately the society itself. Join us as we look to see what the Scriptures say concerning this important topic.

Men and women are different, made for different roles. Paul argues this difference should be evident from our behavior and by our appearance.

Made in the Image of God ! Genesis 1:26-28 The Sixth Day: Creation of Man, Male and Female.This was primeval earth; this was the way our planet looked before God began the six days of creation. But God did not create the earth to remain in a primeval stage. He created the earth to be the home for man. Therefore, God launched His great creative acts; God launched the six great days of creation:on the second half of the sixth day, the final act of creation is to take place. This creative act is to be the crown and summit of God's creation. After this act of creation, the earth will be completely filled with creatures created by God. There will be no more creation, not upon the earth. The earth will have the creature that is to be its ruler and protector: man. Man is the climactic creation of God. Our society and world attacks morality as God Designed it.We see widespread attacks on God's good design as the maker of each of us and our created gender.And we see attacks on God's created gift of marriage.At the heart of these attacks is an assault against God himself and his right to sovereignty in our relationships and lives.

Men in the Roman culture had a domineering view of leadership in marriage, whereas our culture has a weakened definition of love. How does the Holy Spirit lead men to operate in the home?

How should a man lovingly lead His home? In this second part, we consider more about the image of Christ and His beloved church, seeing the permeance of His love as an example of commitment for both husbands and wives.

The fall introduced problems into marriages, but Scripture provides correctives. Unfortunately, it's countercultural today, but the Lord commands gender roles in marriage for its best operation and to reflect His relationship with the church.

Is motherhood and family that important? Even though the world is devaluing children and biblical femininity, Scripture reveals glorious truths for mothers!
