In the morning we will consider "Covenant Family Foundations" from Proverbs 1.8, 9. Here's the theme: "Covenant children follow godly parents for beauty and holiness." As Christ is the most beautiful One, children raised in Christ will also glow with a Christ-like beauty of holiness. Prayerfully consider these things for the AM sermon and order of worship.
Lord willing, we will return to our journey through Mark next week.Scripture Reading: Proverbs 1:1-19

It is not necessary to suffer chaos, pain, and misery in our relationships. What is necessary is that we address the spiritual and mental issues at the root of relational misery. In this episode, we examine two foundational essentials to spiritual health.
Foundations Class #3 of 8
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Foundations Class #2
The Sufficiency of Scripture
The law of the Lord is perfect,[c]
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
8 the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
9 the fear of the Lord is clean,
the rules[d] of the Lord are true,
and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
Visiting from Russia, Brother Sergey Maksimov expounds upon "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men." (Psalms 11:3-4)
