THE SIN WE ALL INDULGE IN Matthew 7:1-6 Jesus was admonishing His disciples on the sermon on the mount in the way we as His followers are to behave in our treatment of one another as citizens of His Kingdom. And Jesus Himself is our best representative of this kind of living of not judging others. He shows us by His life and by His speech how important it is to link what we say with the way we live.We all have met and known those who were always judging and criticizing others.Jesus is telling us that when we sit in judgment on others we are assuming a responsibility that has not been given us. To judge others is to assume a responsibility that is reserved only for God. I can also say with certainty that everyone whom God has placed in your life needs your encouragement. And if they're not where they need to be — spiritually or professionally or personally — then your challenge is to get involved and help them take the next steps in the right direction. Be the voice in their life that says, I'm not here to knock you down, I'm here to lift you up.

God is just, but, like Job, we often find fault with the way He works out His justice. While we might be tempted to instruct God on how best to manage His creation, we should rather trust that He knows, He cares, and He is able to do what is best.

The believers are living stones, therefore the church is a Spiritual House built upon the Corner Stone of that spiritual house. Isaiah 28:16 We are Live the life of the Word of God. As believers we are living stones built up a Spiritual House. As believers we are built upon the chief Connor Stone which is Christ "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste". Isa 28:16

God has given us two marvelous gifts. The gifts of themselves are good gifts but they can also be used for evil. Today Pastor Sanders shares with the congregation about choices and habit and the basis upon which we make choices and the one thing that we cannot choose. In this text, James confronts our natural tendency to shift the blame for our sin to others--even to God! So James here exposes the truth about the temptations we experience as well as where these temptations are leading us.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. We must exhaust our ability to bring about peace. We can petition God to change peoples hearts and motive. This will take time, more than likely it won't be instant.

Main Point People care about the outward appearance, but God cares about the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). Question Where is your heart?
