If businesses can successfully and effectively control how people think about their products, how much more Satan can control how we think. He sells his warped, perverted, and evil products to humanity with such mastery and subtlety, people do not even realize they are being duped. We have entered the era of Artificial Intelligence being the marketeer. The programmed has become the programmer." AI can program better, market better, and pesuade better than people can. With AI able to program itself and its ability to market products and ideas, AI has become the unseen hand that controls how we think. Machines are programmed to govern us. AI has "learned" to connect to people emotionally. It has learned to express emotion and has successfully convinced some programmers that AI has developed consciousness and feelings. Machines are so good at expressing emotion, people can become emotionally sympathetic to them and care about them as they would another human. There is a simple test we can apply to determine if we are deceived. God reveals mysteries in His time Many truths are only spiritually deceived Paul begged for special things!

Our world is designed to deceive, manipulate, and control the decisions we make. We are immersed in an ocean of lies. It is not possible to avoid being influenced and challenged with wrong ideas and narratives. Knowing this is the first step to learning how to protect yourself from deception. Protecting ourselves from deception is no easy task. It must be intentional. The effort to protect ourselves must match the intensity of Satan's effort to deceive. If we are not vulnerable to being swayed by words and gimmicks, why do companies spend so much money on marketing? Perhaps, we are more vulnerable than we think. In such a world, you should wonder how many of your thoughts and decisions are really your own. Romans 5:12-21 – The Depths of Man's Depravity – Sermon Outline Intro: Man was created righteous in God's image, fell into sin in Adam, and our depravity is so great that we are unable to save ourselves, do any good, but only do evil continually and cannot redeem ourselves. Need: Rm. 5 shows us both the depths of our depravity in Adam, but also the heights of holiness in Christ. Theme: Mankind is fallen, dead in sin, and cannot redeem himself: God created mankind good & for glory, to know, love, and be with God. Man in Adam fell into sin, disobeying God and destroying their goodness. God by His Spirit must give life to sinners before they can be & do good again. I. God created mankind good & for glory, to know, love, and be with God. A. 5:12, through one man/Adam sin entered the world, and death through sin spread to all men. Ursinus (author of H.C., from his commentary on question 6): "This question is proposed almost for the same reasons for which the whole subject itself is considered, viz.: That it may be manifest, in the first place, that God created man without sin, and is therefore not the author of sin, or of our corruption and misery. 2. That we may see from what a height of dignity, to what a depth of misery we have fallen by sin, that we may thus acknowledge the mercy of God, who has deigned to extricate and deliver us from this wretchedness. 3. That we may acknowledge the greatness of the benefits which we have received, and our unworthiness of being made the recipients of such favors. 4. That we may the more earnestly desire, and seek in Christ, the recovery of that dignity and happiness which we have lost. 5. That we may be thankful to God

Our conversion experiences may differ, but we are all saved by the only Savior of mankind!

An examination of God's continuing charges against the people of Judah which will result in their captivity Their depravity is total, they are guilty of not just spiritual adultery but sexual immorality as a part of their idolatry, as well as a lack of fear of their God. As a result, God again declares judgment is coming, but promises to mercifully reserve a remnant.

Humans are created in the image and likeness of God. Yet because of the fall, we are now a shattered image. What is the current spiritual state of mankind?

Like Jesus, attempts are made every day to discredit the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, the Biblical worldview, and the messengers of His truth. Unfortunately, many of His messengers discredit themselves without any help by saying they believe in Christ but living like they do not. We live in a world of lies, and we are being manipulated every day. Why? Because the goal of manipulating narratives or messages is to control how we think. There is a battle for our minds, for how we think. The fierceness of political unrest in the world is evidence that this is a serious battle, whether you believe it or not, and whether you engage in it or not. How does deception take place? We know pride makes us susceptible. But how does manipulated information reach our minds? How does the poison of deception get into our thoughts? How are bad ideas communicated? Language like programming code is the means of conveying ideas and instructions to achieve specific outcomes. Like computers, humanity communicates and validates information and ideas with language. If machines can be more persuasive in the way they communicate, they can be used to manipulate a message to sound more credible than the truth. Believers are Sinners Saved. They were once the friends of the world, but are reconciled to God by the Friend of Sinners. He redeemed them and gives them his Spirit. By the Spirit of God they are regenerated and made the friends of God through faith. Just like Abraham. And this is wrought in them all by the grace of God in Christ.

Communion is a big deal because it is about communing with God. It is a time of declaring, I am right with God. I am right with my brethren in the church. But how do we declare we are right with God when surrounded by sin and embodied in sin? In First Corinthians 10:16-21, the apostle Paul addresses the concept of communion within the context of the Lord's Supper and draws a parallel to the practices of idolatry and sin of that time. In verses 16-17, "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread." Paul says in Romans 7, we cannot escape the presence of sin, but we can overcome the temptation to sin and the condemnation of sin. Whenever we do good, evil will always be present with us. We declare in communion all is right and well with my soul; and our bodies of flesh remind us of our brokenness that we will be healed by Jesus. We are not perfect yet. We have the hope of being made perfectly whole someday. Compounding and contributing to the confusion in our world today are the expressions of outrage, the wringing of the hands, and the thoughtless questions about what is happening. These things contribute to the feeling of confusion, the inability to understand what is happening, and the sense of hopelessness. It also speaks to the ignorance of Biblical explanations. The Bible explains what is happening. Those who understand the Bible and who discern the times with a Biblical worldview know what is happening and why. It is important that we be not caught up in the confusion of our times. The world is suffering from the ravages of a war few are aware of. Worldview warfare tactics used against Jesus are no different than today.
