At some point in our lives, we all likely will need counseling. However, that doesn't mean that all counseling needs to be formal from professionals. The fact is, we give informal counseling nearly every day. So how can we give give counsel in a gospel-centered and God-glorifying way?

We are often faced with people sharing their struggles and circumstances of their lives with us. Since every situation is different, there is no one-size-fits-all way to respond. In this verse, Paul gives us four different ways to respond to four different types of people. In these moments, we have no choice but to give informal counselors, so the only question is whether or not the counsel we give is biblical.
