Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. 9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. 11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Do you know God's voice? Many people are trying to pull us in different directions, away from the one true voice. All creation recognizes the voice of the savior. We must 'be still, and know that I am God' if we are to hear. Then, we must follow the voice of God at all times.

Abram asked God how he would know that he would inherit the promised land. In answer God showed him the sacrifice of Christ Crucified. This illustration of Christ looks not to the physical land given to Abraham's descendant, but to the eternal inheritance of Life in Christ. We see Christ in this sacrifice. Following this, the Lord forms Christ in the heart of his people, for Christ secured their salvation by his death and resurrection.

Paul's Passion to Overcome Conflict_12 Acts 15:36-41After some time teaching and preaching in Antioch, Paul wanted to visit the brethren in the cities they had traveled to on his first missionary journey. Barnabas was willing but determined to take John Mark. Paul insisted they should not take John because he left them on the first trip. Unable to reconcile, Barnabas took John and sailed to Cyprus, while Paul took Silas, and with commendation from the brethren in Antioch went through Syria and Cilicia strengthening the churches.Wise leaders anticipate conflict. They know it has been part of ministry leadership since the founding of the church.God takes care of His hurting servants when they are faithful to their call and ministry. Paul is a dynamic example in continuing on despite being bombarded with setback after setback. How can we passionately return to our first love with God?
Remember your roots. Return to His Word. Remove all other love. To "re-turn" to God, we must "turn away" from competing lovers. ...
Rest in His companionship.

Current Events Update: (1) The UFO Hoax was on full display in the Mexican Congress in Mexico City with "scientists" there claiming to have two alien corpses. (2) Democrat Marxist governor of New Mexico attempts to suspend the God-given, 2nd Amendment right to bear arms but Great American Sheriffs and other law enforcement refuse to enforce her tyrannical decree. (3) The Biden crime syndicate and Marxist Democrat Cult continue to lock up political enemies and journalists. Paul's Distraction's in Lystra! Series: The Life of the Apostle Paul Acts 14:8-20 The God's that Distract Us[The Things We let Distract Us from Jesus] LYSTRA-L – Lost in Thought-Y – Yourself-S – Sports-T – Television & Internet-R – Radio & music-A – Alcohol & Drugs.Who here can get distracted? Certainly, we all get distracted Christians need to do all they can to maintain their focus. Our focus according to Hebrews 12 is Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. It may surprise you what things can distract. The controls for the car are more a distraction than cell phones. Isn't that interesting.Paul and Barnabas were preaching on the city streets of Lystra. They ended up Healing a crippled man that had never heard the gospel message of salvation. All such a stir among the crowds on the streets and got such attention from the miracle healing that it was misconstrued as gods of a distraction, and they ended up being called Mercury and Jupiter and were thought to be gods at first. But opposition to their ministry eventually became so great that it resulted in Paul being stoned and dragged out of the city as dead.Distractions keep us from hearing God's Word.I believe if we are honest and look deep into our heart and soul, we will find some spiritual distractions that may well surprise us.We get distracted by the choir and we get caught up. In our own imagination, we get to paying attention to all the things except listening to God communicate to us through the gospel message of the minister behind the pulpit. We Refuse to be Spirit:Spirit – Fed Spirit – Led Overlooking the Creed – Message. They preached the Word – the Gospel.
