As Matt and Tony were packing up their gear to head to lunch, Nathan, a student at Michigan State University, stopped to ask what they were doing. This led to a wonderful conversation with the Catholic young man--a conversation that showed him that good works done to earn salvation diminishes the sacrifice of Christ.

While Matt and Tony ministered on the campus of Michigan State University, Jack received a gospel tract. Tony asked Jack what how he would answer God if asked why he should be allowed into heaven, had he been one of the students killed during the mass shooting that took place just a week prior. Jack's answer led to a wonderful gospel conversation.
Eden saw Tony standing with the cross and was compelled to stop and thank Tony and Matt for being on campus. Eden is an administration of justice student at Michigan State University. A non-practicing Roman Catholic, Eden was taken into the courtroom to see the image of Jesus' penal subsitutionary atonement.
On February 13, 2023, a lone gunman entered the campus of Michigan State University and indiscriminately shot eight students, killing three and wounding five others.
A week later, Tony and Matthew, having been sent by their church, drove from Davenport, IA, to MSU where they joined two more brothers in Christ for a few days of gospel ministry.
While crosswalking near Spartan Stadium and the school's main library, Tony was approached by a student named Kaleb. According to Kaleb, the Lord saved him in September of last year.
Kaleb had a question. "What does the Bible say about worry?"
What followed was a half-hour of biblical counsel, Bible teaching, and beautiful fellowship.
Today was the first day of a new semester, at the University of Iowa. Tony was on campus crosswalking, distributing tracts, and engaging students in conversation.
Blake, seeing Tony with his "Stop and Talk" cross approached Tony. What resulted was a conversation that began as a discussion about worldview and morality and ended with the proclamation of the gospel.

While crosswalking and distributing gospel tracts at the University of Iowa, Tony handed a gospel tract to Matt. Matt identified himself as a Christian who is serving a a student leader in one of the many campus ministries.
Tony asked to hear Matt's Christian testimony, which led him to ask Matt to communicate the gospel to him.
