We live in an age where the wicked seem to prosper. Ungodliness is regarded as harmless, or even as good, while righteousness is mocked and maligned. We see that in many cases, we are governed by those who have no fear of the Lord, and are often even openly at war against Him. Ours is an age of flattery, narcissism, self-love, and lies. Yet none of this is particularly new or unique. This is how things always are when God prepares to rise up and bring safety to His people. Our charge this week is to take God at His word. Christian, do you believe that God's promises are purer than silver refined seven times? Are you confident of your safety in Him? Do you understand that He is committed to guarding your generation forever, even when you are surrounded on all sides? This is the kind of God we serve; He's done it before so you can trust Him to do it again. Rest in the comfort and in the safety He has promised, and once you are rested, labour for His glory as one who knows that nothing can harm you. We start the lecture revisiting the meeting of Abram and Melchizedek, who is Jesus Christ. But we go to the rapture first and current events with Russa and their plans after the Ukraine. Our pastor purposely looks for things that are not usually brought up in this debate over the errors of Calvinism and Arminianism. Jerimiah 19:5 is where we left off last time, but we bring in pottery being changed by the resurrection. It has to do with the water pots in the first miracle where broken water pots are filled with His blood. See... advanced Bible teaching is easy to understand. Well... after you hear him explain that it will be. We move into the Passover lamb and why the legs were not to be broken. And why does the side of Christ have to be pierced? Who pierced Him? He did... because man cannot... He's God. But today we focus on Jerimiah 19:5 and the Lamb slain of the foundation of the world. So, we establish that God had none of the evil in mind. He says it. He's not the author of all evil in light of what He says in this passage. If Jesus Christ has sin, He cannot be the Passover lamb of God because the Passover lamb can have no blemish. When did God have evil thoughts? Never and no way. There's Jerimiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil..." God does not think evil! There's much more to this discussion and the pastor gets riled up because of the ridiculousness of what Augustine and Calvin want us to believe about God. We have to get back to the Hedge in Job. Notice how Satan's lies are unfalsifiable. And we move on to the kiss. Thanks for joining us. We will be meeting again on September 24.

The Church is greatly encouraged so as to overcome the world, by looking beyond the crises in this world to the Lord through His Word, Witnesses, and Worship.

The enemies retreat when God's apostle, doesn't fly in the face of idols, but preaches the gospel conquering the root and fruits of idolatry.

If baptism is for SINNERS, then why was JESUS baptized? In Matthew 3, Jesus asked John to baptize him. That blew John's mind. And so, John told Him that it was the other way around - that Christ needed to baptize him! John knew that Jesus had no sins that He needed to repent of, and no need to be 'washed clean.' The God who MADE YOU wants to be WITH YOU. Think on that. The pagan gods didn't work that way. These (false) deities kept the people at arm's length. But our God wants to be close. He walked with Adam in the garden. He dwelt in the tabernacle and temple. He came to earth in the form of a babe. Our God is "Emmanuel" - He is "God With Us."
