Romans 1:22-27 Professing to be wise, they became fools, [23] and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. [24] Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, [25] who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. [26] For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. [27] Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

After a look at the first day, we have learned much about our God. He is eternal, creator, judge, a God of order, a communicator. He made the world and everything in it to showcase His glory. Join us as we continue to look into this section. There are two metaphors that are common. One is that of a canvas and painting. For the first, in days 1-3 God made the canvas, then painted. The other is that he shaped the structure (days 1-3) and then populated it (days 4-6). Tonight we will move to the second half of the analogy. God has made the canvas, now to paint a picture for His glory.

God is able to set up kings and bring them down. He will be exalted in all things. It is important for pagans to know the true God.

Last week we started to look at the parable of the four soils. This is a very important parable to understand as it gives us a birds-eye view into spiritual life during the church age. Its focus is on the heart of those to whom the word of God comes. It was given to help the disciples to understand the coming rejection of Christ. It is also given to all of us to help us understand the various responses to the Gospel. Join us as we focus in on the seed that falls by the way side and what this means.

Our Proverb is the basis for the truth behind the old saying, "Birds of a feather flock together." It's a warning not to BE the wicked doer described here, but also a warning about associating with folks who fit that description, as well. Also Reference: 1 Corinthians 5:11 https://bbfohio.com

The Gospel of the Kingdom - Message 80 - Do You Understand the Parables? - Matthew 13:31-35, 44-52. These parables warn about the dangers and influence of sin and the great value of the gospel and the knowledge of Jesus. We are warned about these things knowing that judgment is coming at the end of the age.

The Tree of Humility Daniel 4:28-37Believer's must be careful to honor God in all things.Humility is important because it sets things in proper order and perspective. The enemy would have us thrown into arrogance and pride, which skews the lens in which we see the world and how we would see others. God wants better for us. It is when we clothe ourselves in humility that our hearts can see things clearly. We recognize that we are not above anyone, rather, we are all unique children of God, equal in His sight. Humility also blesses us to walk in true freedom, no longer weighed down by the weight of competition. It is in seeking a humble spirit that we can walk to be a blessing to others, a blessing to the Kingdom, and to be open to being blessed in return.God fulfilled Nebuchadnezzar's dream by humbling the prideful and self-sufficient king. All that Daniel had predicted came to pass, both the horrible judgment and the unexpected, glorious restoration of the king.

A loving family is a beautiful thing! And yet, it is just a picture of what God is in our heavenly relationships. You may not have a supportive earthly Father. But you do have a supportive Heavenly Father! And that relationship with your Father will dispel fear, conquer anxiety and bring an end to worry. That will be our message and text for Sunday as we consider our heavenly Father.

Public Opinion Can't Help Let's think about it in the light of the sower, the seed and the soil. The Sower and His Seed change not. The sower and his seed: the sower sows the seed intentionally and directly on the ground that has been prepared. 1st Soil mentioned: Indirectly, seed will fall upon areas that were not made ready when he broadcast his seed. Seed will indirectly fall on deaf ears. 2nd soil mentioned: Seed will indirectly fall on a mind and emotions of them that take hold of what the crowd they are surrounded by grabs. They don't look within but around them and gauge the people in their circle on how they respond to it. They follow along with the crowd and mentally and emotionally are caught up in the moment. But the test will prove it wasn't personal but more of a corporate commitment and not a personal one so they will not stand on nor stand up for the word when put under pressure. 3rd soil mentioned: Seed will indirectly fall on those that are savvy and well equipped with intellectual information and they will add this new information and insight to their repertoire and portfolio of options for doing life. The word becomes another means of self help tools but it just can't hold up next to all the other worldly wisdom for doing life without Jesus. 4th soil mentioned: Seed will directly and intentionally fall on the good ground that the sower had prepared and they will hear, understand, accept it as their own and see it spring up, increase and bear fruit to the glory of God. The ground is described as being a good and noble heart by Luke, unlike the hard wayside where every walks when they pass the prepared and planted field, the rockier shallow so
